For using convenient, we can connect the cable which switches Serial to USB. The cable is like bellow:
Before we connect the console port cable, open Control Pannel-->Device Manager and you can only see two self console port.
After connecting console port cable, there will add a new console port record in the device manager.
Because there is no driver for this device, there is a warning symbol with this device.
After installing the proper driver, the warning symbol disappear.

Because the chip may fake, you must install the driver before 2009, and the download site is Here
Now we can open any communicate tool, like PUTTY and set the proper config of this connection by reference your product user guid.
For example, I try to connect Brocade switch thru this console port, and it setting is
In a Windows environment:
- Bits per second: 9600
- Databits: 8
- Parity: None
- Stop bits: 1
- Flow control: None
