ERROR Message: Failed to install hcmon

solution:

To turn on the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 Service Pack 1 feature:
  1. On your machine, click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows Features on or off
  2. Select Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Reboot the machine.

    Note: Do not skip this step.

  5. Install vSphere Client.
