1. check SELinux status: getenforce

2. disable SELinux temporarily:setenforce 0

3. disable SELinux permanent: vi /etc/sysconfig/selinux and replace "SELINUX=enforcing" to "SELINUX=disabled" then reboot.

 

--Ubuntu 16.04

There is no SELinux installed default in Ubuntu.
