To check system version:

Windows 2008 SP2--> run cmd: msinfo32

To check system type:

Windows 2003 SP2--> run cmd: systeminfo or echo %PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE%

CMD:systeminfo will also list other system information

 

To check patch:

Windows 2003 SP2--> run cmd: wmin qfe |find "<patch_number>"
